Local Veterinarians I Know, Use, and Trust

When it comes to the health of my dogs and puppies, I don’t guess—and I don’t outsource trust lightly. The veterinarians listed on this page are clinics and doctors I actively work with, rely on, and respect. They’ve cared for my personal dogs, my breeding dogs, and my puppies through every stage of life. These relationships matter, and they’re a big part of how I maintain high standards of health, prevention, and transparency.

Why Your Breeder’s Veterinarian Matters

A cute, fluffy Australian Shepherd puppy with a multicolored coat and bright blue eyes, sitting against a plain gray background.

Not all veterinary relationships are the same. These clinics aren’t random names pulled from Google—they’re part of my program.

  • They see my dogs regularly, not just once

  • They understand my health protocols and preventative care plans

  • They work with me on early puppy wellness, parasite prevention, and vaccines

  • They support ethical breeding, health testing, and education

  • They are familiar with high-quality breeding programs—not volume operations

When a breeder works closely with veterinarians who know their program, dogs benefit. Period.

A Team Approach to Puppy Health

Person wearing beige boots and light blue jeans standing in front of a sitting multicolored curly-haired dog against a plain beige background.

Raising healthy puppies doesn’t happen in isolation. It takes a coordinated effort between breeder, veterinarian, and owner.

Here’s how that looks in practice:

  • Regular wellness exams on adult dogs

  • Early puppy evaluations and health checks

  • Preventative parasite protocols based on local risk, not generic advice

  • Open communication when questions or concerns arise

  • Documentation and transparency at every step

By the time a puppy goes home, their health care didn’t just start—it’s already been thoughtfully managed.

Why I Share My Veterinarians Publicly

Some breeders keep this information vague. I don’t.

I share my veterinary partners because:

  • I stand behind my program and the professionals I work with

  • I believe in transparency and accountability

  • I want buyers to feel confident—not curious or confused

  • I respect the role veterinarians play in responsible breeding

You should always know who has cared for your puppy before they come home.

For Puppy Families

If you’re a current or future puppy family, here’s what this means for you:

  • Your puppy has been seen by real veterinarians—not just “checked over”

  • Health recommendations are based on experience, not trends

  • You receive documentation you can confidently share with your own vet

  • You’re starting from a place of prevention, not reaction

Once your puppy goes home, your local veterinarian becomes the lead—but the foundation has already been set.

Built on Relationships, Not Shortcuts

Healthy dogs don’t come from shortcuts. They come from intention, education, and the right people working together. I’m grateful for the veterinarians who support my program, challenge me when needed, and help ensure every dog in my care gets the attention they deserve.

Giardia & Coccidia Explained

Giardia and Coccidia are part of raising puppies. They happen to great breeders, great owners, and great dogs. Education, transparency, and support matter far more than unrealistic guarantees.

Giardia and Coccidia are common intestinal parasites in puppies and are found naturally in the environment. Puppies can be exposed in everyday ways, and symptoms often appear after go-home due to normal stress, routine changes, or immune system fluctuations. These parasites are treatable, manageable, and not a reflection of poor breeding or poor care.

Please read more by following the link below prior to go home day. I will also include a printed copy in your folder.

New Puppy Buyers

I completely understand that bringing a puppy home is a big decision, and sometimes life changes in ways no one can predict. That said, I do not offer cash refunds if a puppy placement does not work out due to personal circumstances, lifestyle changes, allergies, housing restrictions, family dynamics, or unmet expectations.

What I do offer is both accountability and compassion.

If a situation arises where you are unable to keep your dog, the puppy must be returned to me. I will either keep the dog or carefully place them in an approved home. This ensures every dog from my program is protected for life.

In addition, once the dog is safely returned, I provide a certificate for a future puppy in the amount you originally paid, which may be applied toward a future puppy within 18–24 months, based on availability.

Adoption fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, as each puppy represents a significant investment in health testing, prenatal care, early neurological development, structured socialization, veterinary care, and time long before they ever go home.

I encourage families to ask questions, take their time, and be fully confident in their decision before moving forward. My goal is always the right fit—for both the family and the dog.

This policy allows me to stand behind my dogs for life while maintaining the standards of an ethical, responsible breeding program.

  • Our optional Stay & Train program starts at $450 per week and includes crate training, leash work, and socialization. Puppies stay in a safe, family setting for continued structure and care.

Policies

  • Just yourself and a calm mindset. Your puppy goes home with what they need, and everything else is outlined on this page and in your Go Home Guide.

  • Before Go Home Day. Consistency matters, and switching foods too quickly can upset your puppy’s stomach.

  • Once scheduling opens, you’ll reserve your pickup time using the Calendly link on this page.

I also schedule and coordinate via text message

  • All puppies are trained to understand nighttime is for rest, not play. We remove food after 6:00 pm and water after 7:00 pm, which helps with potty training. Puppies are crated with comfort items (blanket with mom’s scent) to reinforce calm, quiet nights.

  • Crate training is strongly recommended. It provides safety, structure, and emotional regulation.

  • It’s best to keep the first few days quiet. Too many people can overwhelm a new puppy.

  • Crying, waking up, or needing reassurance is normal. This does not mean you’re doing anything wrong. Stick to routine, offer comfort without chaos, and keep things calm.

  • Right away—but gently. Focus on routine, crate comfort, potty breaks, and bonding. Formal training comes later.

  • Most puppies begin to settle within 3–7 days as routine, consistency, and familiarity build confidence.

  • Plan for frequent potty breaks—especially after waking, eating, drinking, or play—to set your puppy up for success.

  • Yes. Puppies often sleep more during their first week home as they process new sights, sounds, and experiences.

  • Soft chews, enrichment toys, and safe teething options are ideal. Avoid overly hard chews in the early months.

  • Pickup times are scheduled and structured to keep puppies calm and avoid overstimulation. Please arrive on time.

  • Crying, restlessness, or needing reassurance is completely normal. Stick to routine and keep things calm.

  • This is common during transitions. As long as your puppy is drinking water and acting normally, don’t panic.

  • Activate prior to pickup and send me a visual of your activation. Your puppy goes home with 30 days included, but activation is required.

  • You can always reach out. Support doesn’t end at pickup.

  • Please do NOT put your puppy on the ground on any public surface. No sidewalks, parks, public grass. Limit all exposure. General rule is all paws off the floor until fully vaccinated.

Your puppy can have Fully vacinated visitors to your home from people you trust.

  • Yes! They need to see new people, smells, sounds. Everything. Carry them or have them in an enclosed stroller so you reduce the risk of Parvo. Take them in the car and with you to do things at pet friendly places! It’s important for their socialization. Continue doing this through the first year!

  • This is common. Allow your puppy to adjust at their own pace and avoid forcing interactions.

  • Follow the feeding guidelines provided in your Go Home Guide. Appetite may vary slightly during transitions. I feed 8-12 week old puppies 3x a day. Last feeding at 4:00

  • You’re not alone. Adjusting takes time for both of you. Reach out with questions and lean into routine and consistency.

  • Routine supports nervous system regulation, digestion, sleep, and confidence—especially during the first weeks at home.

  • This Go Home page, your Go Home Guide, and my social media channels provide ongoing education and support.
