Why Puppies Pee on Rugs (and How to Teach Them Better)
Why Do Puppies Pee on Rugs? | Potty Training Tips from Boise Doodle Co.
If your puppy keeps peeing on the rug, bath mat, or anything soft—you're not alone! At Boise Doodle Co., we specialize in raising well-adjusted, potty-trained puppies using proven methods like early texture training and positive reinforcement. Puppies often choose soft surfaces because they mimic grass under their paws. In this post, we explain why that happens and how to teach your puppy that not all soft textures are potty spots. Empower your puppy with the right tools, techniques, and confidence to succeed—inside and outside the house.

📝 Why Raising My Own Puppies Matters So Much | Boise Doodle Co
You know what blows my mind?
The fact that not all breeders actually raise their own puppies. 🤯
I mean, really.
Some breeders are basically just project managers.
They'll pair a mom and dad dog, then send the pregnant female off to a guardian home.
The puppies are born and raised somewhere else. Maybe the breeder swings by now and then for a quick visit or a few pictures. Maybe they just get updates over video chat.
That's it.
And honestly... I can't relate. At all.
